Chanel continues to bring their opulent sense of fashion for their new 2013/14 Fall-Winter ready-to-wear collection. The collection evokes an energetic globe-trotting woman whose modern allure is reflected in a silhouette that plays with volume and proportion. The color palette includes shades of black, grey, blue, purple, and pink is manifested in jackets with rounded shoulders accents a slashed sailor’s smock collar. Creative Director Karl Lagerfeld describes the new collection as one that “crosses in a very mysterious palette of greys”. For this privileged stop-over on planet CHANEL, the tweed suit has metamorphosed into ultra-fluid trompe-l’oeil dresses in perpetual movement.
