Agent Provocateur Fragrance

Agent Provocateur has always understood the important marriage between scent and seduction. With a unique vision of femininity, the brand has created a successful fragrance portfolio that started more than a decade ago. Inspired by The 1940’s Hollywood femme fatale, the latest fragrance offerings from Agent provocateur are enticing, seductive and enigmatic scents with an irresistible signature personality exemplifying the dichotomy of the Femme Fatale.

The outrageously bold and enticing top note of FATALE is a striking blend of spicy Pink Pepper from Madagascar, succulent Mango and exotic Blackcurrant for an indescribably mysterious opening sensation that scintillates the senses. The voluptuous floral heart seduces with uber-feminine, heavenly Gardenia, edged with elegant, woody, violet-scented Orris Absolute, and smoky touches of Indonesian Patchouli and finishes with a sultry, creamy Vanilla Orchid, irresistible Chocolate Gourmand and leathery Spanish Labdanum base.

The second Fatale offering, FATALE Pink is a softer finish, the captivating top note is a blend of Iced Mediterranean Tangerine, Exclusive Pear Flower and addictive Yuzu Whipped Crème, for a fresh, lush, creamy opening. A blushing floral heart is composed of the exotic and mysterious Night- Blooming Datura, transparent fruity nuances of the Madame Camellia Flower and watery Asian Pink Lotus for a delicately graceful and feminine bouquet. The carnal base adds dimension and texture with Moonlight Bamboo and Musk adding a second skin of sensuality. Indian Black Saffron creates dark complexity and intrigue long after she is gone.

The advertising concept of the Fatale scents plays with the juxtaposition between toughness and softness. Mónica Cruz stars in the darkly delightful campaign imagery presenting a vision of intense femininity represented in layers of lace and figure defining lingerie. She embodies the ultimate femme fatale, radiating sensuality and enticing admirers with her enigmatic scent.

“For me it is a great pleasure to be able to continue collaborating with Agent Provocateur. Our relationship started two years ago and I ́m delighted that it continues to grow and develop into new areas. I am privileged that they have seen in me the quality that they wish to communicate with this new fragrance. I just hope I am up to the task and that I can continue to enjoy working with them, as I always have, right from the very first moment.” – Mónica Cruz

a free man

A Free Man

A contemporary fragrance that embodies a free man, a state of mind and a moment of surprise, imbued with happiness.

The house of Yves Saint Laurent welcomed Benjamin Millepied to lend his creative energy and luminous charm to create the new L’Homme Libre.

The fragrance boasts woody aromatics similar to those in the original L’Homme yet this time with an edge of fresh modernity. Its a bottle of classic structure and modern freshness, yet the result is far from a clash, instead the fragrance serenely becomes resolutely modern and elegant.

The two perfumers behind the original and newly aquatic scent are Olivier Polge in Paris and Carlos Benaïm in New York. Together they have created a scent that holds the concept of ‘It takes a free man to express his passion and communicate his energy. Free to follow the rhythm of life but change the tempo at a moment’s notice. Free to take responsibility for his choices, with complete serenity, in the heart of the city.

unititled a forgotten luxury

Untitled- A forgotten luxury

Without a title, that which is not named, a symbol of authenticity and beautiful naturalism, Maison Martin Margiela embodies an initiated novice with its first fragrance.

An aromatic citrus fragrance for both men and women, Untitled has a hand crafted touch that will add a zesty zing to any individual. The sparkling green fragrance features a surprising green freshness evoking a plant bouquet. The contrast of sharp and bursting incenses and sensually smoked notes conjoin two perfect scents into one graceful fragrance.

The understated bottle inspired by traditional apothecary vials lets the fragrance speak volumes as its fresh green colouring soothes against its off-white labelling and thick glass bottle to create a simple memorable masterpiece.

Beside the fragrance Untitled sits its Eau de toilette sibling, Untitled l’eau. Exceeding technique limits with unusual encounters of sun-ripened mandarin orange and lemon with crushed leaves Untitled l’eau lingers on the skin and with a generous sized bottle, Maison Martin Margiela ensures that man or woman, you will burst with citrus freshness for the whole of summer.

Stefano Canturi may very well go down in Australian fashion history as its most prolific master jeweller – an artisan genius, who, driven by a need to create, vivified the concept of artistically-led high jewellery. (Case in point: Canturi’s opulent ‘Satine’, the bespoke 134-carat diamond necklace worn by actress Nicole Kidman in Moulin Rouge) But as his 25th anniversary approaches in 2011, the 44-year-old Stefano Canturi, a former sculptor, is raising the artisanal stakes again, this time courtesy of the luxurious Canturi eau de parfum fragrance. Launched in view of the Sydney Opera House in October at iconic restaurant, Guillaume at Bennelong, Canturi eau de parfum is an olfactory unification of the traditional Oriental and Chypre fragrances – think citrus top notes, supported by nuances such as Calabrian Bergamot (the family of Canturi, an Australian, hails from Calabria, Italy), Mandarin Leaves and Neroli. Canturi reportedly cites Cubism as the main influence in the creation of his jewellery, explaining, “It (Cubism) was one of the most creative periods in time; people saw art in a way they had never seen before. The mood was of discovery, modernity and confidence”. The maestro has continued along a similar vein with the brand’s debut scent; the bottle, with its elegant, interweaving lines, is reminiscent of the brand’s ‘Canturi Cubism Pendant’. “Like jewellery, fragrance is the ultimate expression of the wearer’s personality,” says Stefano Canturi. Available exclusively in Lane Crawford, Hong Kong, Bergdorf Goodman (US), Canturi Stores in Australia, Las Vegas and New York and Myer stores nationally in Australia.
