Wordly View

The Vue de Monde presides over Melbourne’s CBD, with views extending over the superb backdrop of Yarra River to Albert Park Lake and beyond to Port Phillip Bay. This is where scale and sophistication, along with unforgettable classic private dining, are found high up on the 55th level of the Rialto tower.

Paired back stylish design, simplicity and purity, are expertly combined solely to provoke emotion and thought. Referencing the cultural glory days, gold rush, and a Charle’s Darwin sketch as interpreted by neon art seminal conceptual artist Joseph Kosuth

Here, luxury is not a perception, and the revered menu matching the surroundings offers countless hours of endless appeal to the senses.

State of Design festival

Design:Made:Trade

Taking place from Thursday 21 to Sunday 24 July 2011, Design:Made:Trade is the one and only design fair of its kind in Australia. The design fair, now in its fourth year, is part of Australia’s largest celebration of design – the State of Design Festival (20 – 31 July). Design:Made:Trade will again take place at the historic Royal Exhibition Building in Carlton, and will be accompanied by design-related workshops, talks, exhibitions and displays.  A two day trade fair, two day public consumer fair – it is a stepping stone for emerging designers; a curated show which presents a unique platform to create networks.
