CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN

Christian Louboutin showcases the cooler side of classics in his latest collections, infusing traditional men’s shoe styles with fresh energy and attitude.
For Autumn-Winter 2014 and Pre-Spring-Summer 2015, the French Luxury designer revamped classic brogues, oxfords and Chelsea boots with high-impact details. Chain-embellished midsoles, exclusive fabrications and red soles appear across the collections, giving men everywhere striking options for their most important accerssories.
Louboutin’s interpretation of polished city styles in the AW14 collection include Trepeter Flat. A classic cap-toe Blamoral shoe, and Capri. A wholecut leather show with a buckle over the throat. These handmade shoes feature naturally coloured leather, hand-painted and polished for an elegant effect.
Some of the collection’s most spirited combinations of textures, prints and fabrics appear in Olympio and Education, with their wingtip detailing and vibrant colours. For boots, Louboutin created Toerless, a cap-toe boot with brogue detailing and bucles over the laces. Men interested in a sleek style can look to Antonio, a Chelsea boot in rich cognac, navy and chestnut-appear leathers.
In addition to these classic designs, Louboutin furnished Jonathan Saunders and E. Tautz with shoes for their forl5 men’s shows during London Collections. Men for Saunders, Louboutin crafted modern loafers and high-gloss ulitity boots. E. Tautz’z models wore streamlined suede derbies and strappy high-top trainers in shades of nude, brown, navy and gray.

Louboutin boasts 7 men’s shoe boutiques worldwide. Find these and other styles in stores and online now at www.christianlouboutin.com

Then proceed to select the colour from a palette of 24 shades of satin to best match with their outfit, and receive their Ferragamo shoes, made by the Florentine maison, after six weeks. The Red Carpet project is now available at Ferragamo’s Paragon flagship store. Fantastico!

Fur-tastic

Manolo Blahnik has long been responsible for taking every woman’s shoe obsession to a whole new level. And judging by the unveiling of the brand’s recent Fall/Winter collection, it appears this love affair will remain for the long run. A master of the sculpted shoe silhouette, the Spanish Blahnik was once quoted as saying, “About half my designs are controlled fantasy, 15 percent are total madness and the rest are bread-and-butter designs.” His newest collection presents the maestro’s constant tug-of-war between the practical and fantasy. Nesta features a suede boot with a luxurious rabbit fur collar. Revived from the 70s archive, it also comes in beautiful grey flannel.
