Fusing 100-year-old historical tradition with modern design innovation, the Düsseldorf label, Suzusan, have released an exquisite lighting series or “Luminaries”. Designer and company founder, Hiroyuki Murase, utilized an ancient Japanese technique known as Shibori, a tradition his family has carried with them for over a century. Translating literally “to wring, press and twist”, the process results in incredibly tactile and unique and spectacular textures.
